I love the color saturation on the first one. Very well done. My one complaint ( a small one) is that bright object in the grass a little above and to the right of the watermark. I don't know if it's a rock or a stump or what but I'd suggest cloning that out.

Instead in CIR Section 531 (COMPLETION OF BACKGROUND AND SECURITY CHECKS) takes away the right for courts to rule on writs of mandamus filings:
"(k) Prohibition of Judicial Enforcement- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no court may require any act described in subsection (i) or (j) to be completed by a certain time or award any relief for the failure to complete such acts."
Sen. Obama and Rep. Gutierrez introduced the Citizen Promotion Act in March 2007. The bill has a provision that asks for a namecheck to be completed in 90 days (also includes mumbo jumbo about GAO studying the problem, but the results are already in thanks to the Ombudsman).

The quality sucks (I have a Motorola V710 w/1MP camera - it is at best slightly worse than the 1MP point and shoot Epson I had in 1997) and has less than zero low light capability... but I carry my phone everywhere.... int he upper right of my blog (http://threefourfive.com) is a secion called moblog that has the latest photo I've sent to my blog - you can click on that and get to a gallery of all the photos I've sent to it (videos too)... it's only 8 clicks to send a photo and have it auto posted to my blog... nice for super quick snapshots of my kid or something for my mom to see.

You are 100% correct. They look for PD while accepting I-485 and then they see it only at the time of approval. There is no FIFO. It all depends on luck.
What FIFO Pappu was talking about is related with 485 processing between Receipt and final conslusion. That processing is done on "Receipt date" based FIFO in theory. For practical matter, most of the time, end visual effect is 485 is not done through receipt based FIFO but it is done through that.
Example: Assuming both same catgory and same PD, your 485 file reached on July 2nd. My file is reached on August 2nd. Your file will be processed first.. But say you stuck in name check and I am not then down the road after 1 year, if our PDs become current, And If by that time processing is over on my file then I will get GC first although your file reached first but because you will be still stuck in name check.

Either you or your wife have to curb the career growth.
As of today EB2 is progressing well. There is a gossip out there that EB2 will be current in a year. If you stay with your current company you will get your Green Card.
If you stay in EB2 you may have to cut the career progression for 2 more years (Assumption - EB2 will be current in a year). If you move to Eb3 then it will be 10 yrs or more.
How sure are you that they will process her Green Card in EB2 or atleast they will file for a GC? If your wife only wants to join a company that processes GC in EB2 then there may be a chance that they will pay your wife less.
Decide on your own.

Ruchigup, Are you sending AC21 document? I am also leaving my current employer and taking AC21 route. I am retaining my lawyer. He is supportive and hopefully, will not ask retainer fee as he knows that i paid all my gc cost.
Can you please share your AC21 experience so far ? Is your new job exactly similar ?

wanted to know, what happens to employees of Vision Systems Group and its sister company's employees immigration status. as every one know VSGINC has allegations from USCIS on immigration fraud and H-1B.
Employees like me no where related to there fraud. how USCIS reacts on employees pending 485?. Most of the employees are moved out using AC21.
It all depends on the case to case. I know the company which is in the same situation. I heard bad stories that happened to their employees.

USCIS has issued revised instructions for USCIS Form I-131, Application for Travel Document. The instructions include changes effective March 5, 2008 that require applicants for re-entry permits and refugee travel documents to provide biometrics (e.g., fingerprints and photographs) at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for background and security checks and to meet requirements for secure travel and entry documents containing biometric identifiers.
Q. May an I-131 applicant for a re-entry permit or refugee travel document complete biometrics outside of the United States?
A. Form I-131 instructions provide guidance for certain persons who are abroad at the time of filing to visit a U.S. Embassy or consulate for fingerprinting, although all applicants are urged to file before leaving the United States. Since certain overseas offices have the discretion to accept and adjudicate applications for refugee travel documents, although it is not mandatory that they do so, an applicant for a refugee travel document may complete biometrics outside of the United States, but is encouraged to wait to travel until his or her biometrics have been collected and the document delivered. As discussed earlier, certain overseas USCIS offices may, in their discretion, adjudicate Form I-131 filed for a refugee travel document (but not re-entry permits), where the applicant has failed to apply while in the U.S. (see 8 C.F.R. � 223.2(b)(2)(ii)). However, applicants for refugee travel documents should not count on the overseas offices necessarily agreeing to adjudicate Form I-131 in all cases, particularly where it is evident that the individual could have applied while in the U.S. and attended his or her biometrics appointment. Good information but I feel that it doesn't matter anymore. Even if your visa number is up, your application will probably still sit in a warehouse while the acting director or whomever, keeps using the FBI namecheck backlogs to blind everyone of their inefficiency. :( Frustrated to a point of numbness.

I have EB3 PD of 2004 and it will take a while to get GC for sure. I am in a situation where I do not want to go for stamping and want to use AP in Feb 2008. If I do use AP will it invalidate my H1 with the same employer. My H1 6th year ends in 2010. If I get married in India at a later date will it be an issue to bring my spouse on H4 since I am a parolee?
Is there a way around this with a H1 extention at a later date and stamping at a later date?

two months is a reasonable estimate---but you could request premium processing and pay an extra $1000 filing fee for a decision within 15 days.
